What is BioThane®?
It is a polyester webbing with a PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean, and smell resistant.
Why is BioThane® better than leather?
BioThane® is more durable, cleanable, stronger, and easier to maintain than leather. It is also readily available in different colors.
Is BioThane® chew proof?
Nothing is “chew proof.” Just like with all dog products if a dog is left unsupervised, they will be able to chew through it. However, with that said BioThane® is tough and will hold up to a lot. We have had a few very “chewy” dogs that were left alone with our products (during the testing phase), and yes they chewed on the products a lot, but the products were still usable. (Not as pretty but still functional.)
Do BioThane® Coated Webbing products contain Latex?
No. BioThane® does not contain Latex
How do I clean BioThane®?
Warm water and soap works well. For tougher messes you can use a small amount of rubbing alcohol.
Are your products tested?
All of our product designs are tested by multiple dog professionals including dog trainers, groomers, and animal control officers. We do this to make sure to provide our customers with the best products we possible can.
If I want a completely custom product, can you make it?
Absolutely! We have had multiple customers that have had an idea for what they wanted, and we were able to sit down and discuss what they wanted and how to make it. If we already have the needed material then we can come up with a design, price, and make it for you. If we need to order the material then there will be a delay, but we are still happy to do it. We love making custom products for our customers, because we know that you will be getting something that fit your needs.
